Baselining your hearing https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/baselining-your-hearing <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>why does the military start a new base line on your hearing? I can hear certain noises on the hearing test. Some are the same time as this constant ringing into ears. I came in with perfect hearing. Now, I can only decipher half of any conversation on the phone and a little better im person. I've failed so many stupid hearing tests. I can her low tones, but the high pitches are really hard. Why do I now ksyart from a different baseline than when I first entered. Will this effect VA when I retire. I surely can't be a telephone operator. Lol. But hearing is very essential in any position available in the future. I always do horrible on my hearing test and get asked to come back all the time, I never do though. They ask me to come back so they can adjust my baseline as well. I don't want my baseline adjusted because I don't want it to change anything when I get ready to get out as well.
