Battalion Colors and Presenting Arms in formation

So I am hold the position in my battalion where I have to hold the battalion colors during battalion formations. And I was curious what is the correct way to present arms with them while in formations when not using the vest. Now I understand how guidons are done but I was told it was different for the colors.

CW2 Private RallyPoint Member with the BN Colors, whwnever you present or order arms, the right arm goes fron or back. You don't pick up the flag as with the guidon. And you stand either at attention or parade rest depending the command given.

Since you are going to be holding the BN Colors, your best bet is to get guidance from the CSM for those Colors (since they are his/hers). And, you should (more than likely) be doing rehearsals and you will get all the info on how to do the Colors doing said rehearsals.
