B.867742<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My favorites are sauces from:<br />- Country's BBQ - Columbus GA (mustard base)<br />- Dreamland BBQ - Tuscaloosa, AL (tomato base)<br /><br />If you can't get Country's, get Foy's BBQ Sauce, which is a pretty close to Country's. It is available in many grocery stores in Alabama and Georgia.<br /><br />My favorite "private label" sauce is "Nick's Kids" BBQ Sauce ... Most sauces overpower the true taste so I'll eat some first and then sauce it if I want. I do like the Carolina baby backers with slaw on top. I make up a rub containing about 12 ingredients. If I must buy something from the store, Sweet Baby Rays is a good one to tinker with. I do like cupcake chicken done with root beer sauce. One with bourbon and one using apple juice one. I use a rub on them for 3-4 days. Then bring up to room temp before cooking.
