Because of Covid-19. Will new soldiers in AIT have to still complete ACFT or APFT?

I thought that ACFT release was delayed a little bit because of all of this, so do AIT soldiers have to pass the ACFT to graduate?

It’s going to be up to the schoolhouse commander most likely. Last guidance I heard was that the APFT is the current test until further notice. Scores would be good for 12 months if you took an APFT for record. When it comes to schools it is usually up to the schoolhouse commander to determine graduation requirements. Could he ACFT or APFT.

Every location is handling it different, but where I'm at they are waiving that as a graduation requirement. Group/morning PT, with COVID mitigating procedures in effect, is likely to continue however.

it depends. i’m currently at ait and we have to pass the ACFT to graduate.

Everyone that I know in different posts for AIT, including myself, is taking a record ACFT but it is not a graduation requirement
