Avoid for-profit colleges for degrees based on weak reputation and high cost. Since your MOS is highly technical, there may be defense contractor positions afterwards to consider. If you are staying in, I would admonish you to do the same thing. Here on RallyPoint, from full-bird colonels on down, I&#39;ve observed some of the most appalling misuse of the English language in any environment. Everything you will ever do depends almost entirely upon your ability to effectively communicate. Vastly overwhelming percentages of American citizens have absolutely no idea how critical that is. The trickle-down effects can been seen, heard, and/or read across the entire nation. Help change that dynamic.
