I have a little of everything. Depending on weather and where I am I have the best luck with my closed face- wind doesn't make it back lash and the spinning rod cant get the distance. Bait caster is great in the boat. I have light weight gear for when nothing big is biting and you need the blue gill to feel like it weighs 4 pounds. Will check out your site and see if you are a better deal than little bait shops and Wal-Mart
