Since your housing is provided during basic and AIT, you would not get BAH while you were at school. That&#39;s the way it worked when I was dual military. If your spouse already is at their duty station, they may draw BAH depending on rank and if you are slotted you join them. Where I’m at even if you are married E1-E5 are in the Barracks if their spouse is not with them.
