Where are the changes that matter? Hate and destructive bigotry meets the road in the Military.

And for all that talk of change do we still have homeless vets? You bet and I think we look at this numerically by redefining problems and calling those things solutions. I believe we are our brother's keeper but to do that we have to be strong ourselves.

When I was homeless I saw enough B.S, to last me for two lifetimes. There are a lot of veterans falling through the cracks? And what places like Detroit? The people there are good people with a few morons but otherwise our government is doing nothing constructive.

Our military brotherhood far outstrips the civilian population for tolerance and once we get some experience the full magnitude of regulations are well understood. I have seen some remarkable young SMs basically being overrun with stupidity and thus falling out. When make life easier for someone else we make it better for all, military and civilian. We are not civilians and we lack some of the fundamental protections that civilians do and that is why we have had things the Soldiers and Sailors Protection Act. What I do see from senior officers and NCOs is a low regard for pandering.

We also need to hear and work with those of different viewpoints within the military who know our needs and the stresses of active duty life.

What are your concerns? All opinions matter especially if we are working together. Do others want to listen or just want to preach? Being true to your passions? I have nothing against helping other countries, but just feel like it's hypocritical. We're so quick to aid somebody else, but we're neglecting what's happening here. How are you going to go help clean up somebody else's house and yours is filthy.
