Fail. Most heartburn - used their rank and position for personal gain.<br />Bergdahl = deserter. Fail Individual action - caused other individuals to be injured, but that was not planned, just an unintended result. Still left his base in a combat zone.<br />Manning = whistle blower / traitor. Not sure in my own mind. Don&#39;t like being lied to by establishment. Don&#39;t like a traitor - is he? Did he/she expose the lies we were told? The military has a horrific time policing it's senior leadership. For instance, the Air Force general who say aside a conviction by GCM for sexual assault of what I remember to be another general because they weren't convinced. Look at the academy sex abuse cases, people were fired but not charged. What about Tailhook? The senior leadership are so buddy buddy they will never be held to account the same as a E1-E5 or O1-O3 would be. I'm not surprised or disillusioned. All it does for me is make me want to be the JAG all the more.
