It is still considered &quot;social media&quot; but more on the business side, jobs opportunities, network, etc. I haven&#39;t been really active for a while, but I would recommend LinkedIn to anyone who is serious in business networking/connections, and certain jobs interests. You can create a profile, civilian words, not military jargon, and LinkedIn will pair that profile with employers. To this day I still get posts from LinkedIn on jobs available for me. It&#39;s a great resource just for that but you can also build contacts with individuals working in the industry(ies) you are interested in. The value of a LinkedIn network should not be underestimated when you are job hunting.
