What did you do to make some extra money while on Active Duty? I delivered pizzas, I was a bar tender, cab driver, club security, and in telemarketing. Now, I just promote my book, and my home based business - ACN. Passive income at this point in my life versus active income. But my whole career, I kept a gig going, doing something. Keep in mind, these will require an initial investment, but will pay off if you're consistent.

1) Vinyl Sign Making (I have an MH cutter from USCutter, initial investment was $600 with the cutter, software and some vinyl. In one year I've made close to $9,000)

2) Web Design, this will be extremely time consuming, but if you're creative and have no social life... You can make $1,000 - $3,000 per site you make (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, mySQL, PHP.... just to name a few languages)

3) Flip items from local thrift stores. You'd be surprised how much certain $7 shirts from Value Village can sell on Ebay (Example, I bought 2 Kanye West Yeezus shirts for $7 a piece, and sold them all same day for $50 a piece)

4) Make a youtube channel (There is one 1LT that I follow and I'm sure he makes some decent ppay from ads

5) Become a professional Barracks Barber (lol what an oxymoron), but had a guy in my old unit making $200 - $300 every Sunday cutting hair)

6) Dropshipping

7) Offer a subscription service (I charged $50 a month per person and I would teach them about investing, futures trading and how to become proficient with Investing)

8) Car detailing service (I know young Privates like to get the car of their dreams with a limited income... so I know there would be a market for it.

9) Barracks Hosting service (I shit you not, we did not have internet at my old barracks... we a had a guy make his own Netflix....he had any movie you could think of, and they only way to access it was to pay him.... Genius IMO) Response by SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 22 at 2016 6:34 AM 2016-04-22T06:34:09-04:00 2016-04-22T06:34:09-04:00 PO1 Private RallyPoint Member 1470949

EMT-P moonlighted in the ER and patient transport and Ocean Rescue as well as Hollywood set Medic.
