I think I'm one of the few people that enjoyed the recently canceled tv show Enlisted. It wasn't great, but if you could appreciate it for what it was (Scrubs with a military setting) then it wasn't bad at all in my opinion. All the given examples were before my time so I can't really give an opinion on them.

While Gomer Pyle USMC was good, I have to go with Hogan's Heroes. Really enjoyed that show.

M*A*S*H was hilarious for about the first 5 seasons, then it started to become more dramatic at times.

Wow, this is really a toss up cause I watched them all except Golden girls... Hogan's Heroes was awesome, but I loved Gomer Pyle too, and F-Toop was great but a different era of war... You missed McHale's Navy though...

I've cast my vote for "Hogan's Heros" but I have to mention "The Phil Silvers Show" as another contender. Two programs lost to the ages are "Roll Out", based somewhat on WWIIs Red Ball Express, and "Six O'clock Follies", about an Armed Forces TV station in Vietnam.

I loved Hogan's Heroes and Black Sheep Squadron as well.

But M*A*S*H is my favorite. I took all 11 seasons and the movie with me to Iraq and watched them in order during my down time.
