Best place to get side plates around Fort Bragg

So I'm on my way out and somehow my side plates have been misplaced. I've looked everywhere. If anyone knows of a place I could pick up these bad boys I would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry brother, most likely you'll have to bite that bullet! Those jokers are controlled items and if a surplus sells them CID will be so deep in the stuff that will not be funny.

If I remember right, issued side plates are still controlled items. Not even Old Sarge's will sell them for fear of a CID sting.

If I am correct CIF is the only place that will have them. Yes that means you will have to pay for them. Stores are not authorized to sell military ballistic plates. You should get a 10% discount off of them when they write up the statement of charges. Sorry to hear about your issue.

SGT Kimball Bowers - If you do that, better hope that the NSN is there and matches whats on your records. But, I think I would advise against going on ebay.

What's interesting about that is that it wasn't made a big deal when I went in today. I turned in 6 plates total and he didn't look at any of the nsn's hopefully if I ask my buyer to give me detailed pictures I should be able to see if they are the same and hopefully I'll luck out. High risk high reward sometimes.
