Best way to get into Army AECP program?

Looking to get my ADN then apply to AECP...almost done with 68c school; what are the best ways to get into this program?

Find a school that meets the criteria and get a conditional letter of acceptance, complete the application documents listed, and submit them to USAREC via the address provided. Make sure you meet all the eligibility criteria listed in the link below. Pay particular attention to the requirements for GPA (at least 3.0) and service obligation (must have 24 months TIS).

Start working with an AMEDD recruiter as soon as you are eligible. It’s a long process to build a packet, typically it needs to begin almost a year out.

Meet the prerequisites of the program. You'll have to wait a year after you finish 68C training prior to applying.

It completely depends on where you will be located. You could easily start a BSN program online. But any local community college should have an ADN program. You are going the same way I did 43 yrs ago. But I got an LPN first which I obtained in the Army. The old MOS was 91C20. I would be willing to bet the army still has that kind of program

I'm so sorry you will be an LPN. I'm not very familiar with the new MOS system. After you take the LPN/LVN boards look for what is called a "bridge" program. Most Community Colleges have them, depending on your prereqs you could be done in a year

How did everything go? I’m going to 68C AIT JANUARY 25 2021, possibly wanting to go IPAP OR AECP not sure yet. Did you find a school?
