I remember at the academy any time a canteen hit the deck, you were supposed to yell grenade and dive on it. If no one did, we were all punished for not saving our shipmates. Seems a similar drill.

We used to do some stupid shit like this at SOI West with the Privates. Really funny until one fell out of the bleachers. Hard to explain or justify.

This guy at BCT, Fort Jackson, dropped his BFA and our Drill SGT's freaked out at us. And they said "Privates! That's a live grenade! What're you going to do? Everyone ran. Everyone. I'll never forget that night of doing push-ups for not saving our battle buddies.

They should have all fell ground 1st once that Grenade goes off those Grenade Fragments don't say I am Sorry Not good after they Ran alot of those Cadets would have been in body Bags Teach them Right don't shortcut their training HOORAH

That is the improper way to hold a grenade and manipulate the safeties for a left handed thrower. Please refer to FM 3-23.30 Chapter 3, page 3-10, Paragraph 3-16, and also view figure 3-12.

LMAO... hell yeah! When you see somebody run, you run too. You don't stop to ask questions why you're running, you don't look back to see why you're running... if a bunch of us standing around and one person starts running, I'm gonna start running too!
