How about we talk about that sergeant major who ran a prostitution rink with his female soldiers and higher ups?? The chaplain did nothing wrong, spreading the word of Jesus Christ? We have a CHAPLAIN... A CHRISTIAN CHAPLAIN, wears a cross on his collar and someone is offended because a CHRISTIAN CHAPLAIN talks about Jesus Christ!?!?!?!?! REALLY!?
So does anyone care if talking about two men having sex offends me? Nope. How about that it offends me that....whatever...Nope. Because I am White, Male AND Christian, I am fair game.
What did we fight for? Seems anymore, only the easily offended can speak their mind...

GOD FORGIVE AMERICA Response by SSG Roger Ayscue made Jun 11 at 2015 10:04 PM 2015-06-11T22:04:59-04:00 2015-06-11T22:04:59-04:00 Capt Seid Waddell 742598

Regs are regs, whether we like them or not. He will probably receive a verbal reprimand for an honest mistake, nothing more.

The MRFF is always offended. They constantly call for people to be relieved for everything. A quick Google will show a stream of ridiculous claims. They are like the PETA of religious watch dog groups.
To put it in perspective, it's about the equivalent of PETA calling for cruelty to animals charge for someone killing a fly. The whole reason they are able to be a chaplain is because they are endorsed by an authorized ecclesiastical endorser.

If Chaplain (Rabbi) Goldstein, who recently retired, were to promote a book in uniform, or as he has on numerous occasions, promoted Judaism to Jews, in uniform, would there be this kind of outrage? He affiliates with Chabad Lubavitch (as I do), an Orthodox Jewish group, which frequently uses his image in uniform to promote Judaism and Jewish service in the military.

I am sorry my Christian friends in uniform have to go through this. Sometimes it gets to be too much. Organizations like the MRFF, that really could help by pursuing true cases of religious-based discrimination (and end up trolling for this kind of stuff to stay relevant), are all over it, and I am sorry to see that. "Hey chaplain. Don't do that again, you really started a shit storm."

Sounds like punishment enough. The military has a lot worse problems that plague them than a chaplain wearing his uniform in a video. I can see that it is basically a group that wishes to diminish Christian influence in the military (a strange use of their time, to say the least), so not surprising that they're going after the Chaplain that way. Considering the source of the supposed outrage though, I'm surprised people are taking it that seriously.
