SPC Private RallyPoint Member 8130942 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hey I&#39;m an 11C undergoing an interstate transfer. The drill site closest to me only has an excess 11C slot for me which means I will not be able to get an exception to the policy for my student loan repayment bonus which I really need. I could reclass inorder to get a real slot and get my bonus. I don&#39;t want to have to go through an entire AIT. 11C in the National Guard also have an incredibly slow career progression due to the low number that states have for them. Is it possible for me to reclass into a 11B? Would I have to go back to Benning in order to do this? I was in the first 22-week cycle for 11C so would that entail me meeting training requirements? I never met a 11B that spoke about doing anything that I didn&#39;t do at OSUT. Can a 11C switch to 11B without extra training? 2023-02-12T12:59:07-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 8130942 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hey I&#39;m an 11C undergoing an interstate transfer. I&#39;ve been told i could switch to 11B once i get to my duty station by putting in a 4187 packet. Is it really that easy ? Also do 11C get slots a lot of slots for airborne ? i want to go airborne as well.</p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by Sgt Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 12 at 2023 1:19 PM 2023-02-12T13:19:45-05:00 2023-02-12T13:19:45-05:00 COL Randall C. 8130987 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you went though you training prior to 31 AUG 12, then the schoolhouse says you can be awarded the MOS without further training.
