Can a 42A be assigned to high speed units while in AGR?

Curious if a 42A can be assigned to special (combat, intelligence, etc.) units while in AGR.

When I say, “special” I don’t mean special ops but more so if a 42A can be assigned to some bad ass units. Thanks for the comments.

If you are AGR you can only be assigned to units that have a AGR position for that MOS.

Every unit has 42As at Battalion level and above (sometimes company), not every unit has AGR positions.
If you are looking for combat units, they are primarily in the Guard. However, there are units that do high-speed things in the Reserve as well.

There are NG SF Groups that probably need some 42As.

Nearly every Operational and Functional unit has 42A AGRs. Only small detachments don't have at least 3-4 Full time personnel (under 25 Personnel sections/companies).

If you have access to FMS Web (https://fmsweb.army.mil) you should be able to search for any unit in the USAR by branch, specialty. Technically there is only one Combat Infantry Battalion- 100th INF BN, 442nd Infantry Regiment in the Army Reserves- out of Hawaii & American Samoa.

There are many Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations (now known as MISO) Units in the Army Reserve that work closely with the Special Forces. There are quite a few Rigger units that are regularly on jump status & jump several times a year as well. Not sure what type of unit exactly you may be looking for to be "high speed".

As a 42A I have been in a Transportation Brigade (active duty) , reserve Rigger unit, Drill Sergeant unit, Civil Affairs Unit and Now a Postal Unit and everyone of the Reserve units had at least one 42A AGR
