<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>That is a typo on a certificate, and a certificate is something for framing.<br />What will promote you is a promotion order, and that will say SGT.<br /><br />AR 600-8-19 spells out the requirement for promotion to SSG, and it includes time as a SGT and completion of ALC.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>That was probably a typo. A promotion certificate doesn&#39;t really mean anything. Your promotion orders are what matters. Someone in S1 messed up and they and your BC missed it.
