Can a chapter 14 be upgrade?

6 years ago my husband got an OTH for Misconduct. Currently he has changed, he studies and we have 2 children. It is possible to get an upgrade for misconduct?

He will have to submit a request for an upgrade

He can work with the local County Veterans Service Officer to apply. He will have to be a person of good standing in the community. It will take time, and won't happen overnight. He will need a copy of his discharge when he goes to the VSO.

Keep in mind that just because he has “Changed” does not change the fact that he did something while serving that warranted the discharge and the review board may view it that way as well
