Looks like it may be an Army thing, didn't exist when I was in the USMC, that I know of!Response by Cpl Gene Hill made Dec 15 at 2019 9:58 PM2019-12-15T21:58:16-05:002019-12-15T21:58:16-05:00Sgt Alex Casqueira7031901<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Ok, I haven't read all the comments to see if someone already said this or not but I can only speak for the USMC side. I did some time in the operations side of the house in an infantry unit for the Marines "we call it the S-3 shop" I don't know how the Army does it but that office runs all the schools and training for the whole unit. I know personally that if you know the right people, and you have all the requirements met except for the rank part, the ops chief can get a waiver for you to attend the school. Our ops chief was a master gunny so, it's not like anyone is going to tell him no if he tries to send you. But on the other hand, I have also send Marines show up to schools with a waiver like that and the commanding officer of that specific school house told him no and sent him back to his unit. At that point it becomes a dick measuring contest between your mgunz and that school house. Hope this helps brother.Response by Sgt Alex Casqueira made Jun 7 at 2021 10:36 PM2021-06-07T22:36:09-04:002021-06-07T22:36:09-04:002019-11-05T13:30:46-05:00
