Can a E-5 in the NG date a E-4 in the NG? 2021-04-14T14:03:17-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 6902157 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The E-5 is not a platoon SGT or squad leader. Now would I date someone in my organization in the military, absolutely not. Every relationship you have ends badly except for the person you marry and then those sometime as well. Quite a few in the organization are going to know their business, especially if it is a &#39;slow news day.&#39; One of the people need to be prepared to find work elsewhere if it goes bad. Not saying this will happen but it is something to consider. Should they though? I would strongly discourage it because if the relationship fails, problems in the workplace could then arise. They may feel awkward around each other, not communicate as necessary to do their job, retaliate by tampering with accessible information regarding the other person, etc. Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 14 at 2021 11:01 PM 2021-04-14T23:01:22-04:00 2021-04-14T23:01:22-04:00 CW3 Kevin Storm 6904589 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The rule on frat is different in the Guard then it is in AD and AR. As each state has its own rules. One state may be more lenient than others. I would ask your Chain for clarification in writing if possible i.e. what state regulation covers it, not just word of mouth.
