Either way you can contact a recruiter. It will largely depend on what your rates issue is. Thank you for your service.Response by CSM Darieus ZaGara made May 4 at 2019 12:06 PM2019-05-04T12:06:49-04:002019-05-04T12:06:49-04:00SSG Brian G.4603456<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Talk to a recruiter. I will not comment on whether they can or not as each case is different. Have people with disability ratings rejoined the military? Yes. There are several stories of here on RP of just that happening. Each one is different but the thing is, you have to write the VA to give up your disability and then you have to pass MEPS. And even then you have to have a waiver or a few depending on the reasons for the disability in the first place. And then there is the fact that you might not even get that disability rating back because look at you, you are healthy enough to serve again... that is not disability. <br /><br />Think long and hard before you embark on such a course.Response by SSG Brian G. made May 4 at 2019 12:26 PM2019-05-04T12:26:53-04:002019-05-04T12:26:53-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member4603466<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes- it’s possibleResponse by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made May 4 at 2019 12:31 PM2019-05-04T12:31:02-04:002019-05-04T12:31:02-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member4603624<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes but it basically depends on what your ratings are for and if you can pass medical. Your first stop is a recruiter and then go from there. I came back in the Army 2007 with a 60% VA rating, so it is possible. Good luck to you...Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made May 4 at 2019 1:36 PM2019-05-04T13:36:04-04:002019-05-04T13:36:04-04:00SFC Melvin Brandenburg4604461<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>maybe with a waiverResponse by SFC Melvin Brandenburg made May 4 at 2019 7:59 PM2019-05-04T19:59:33-04:002019-05-04T19:59:33-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member4605647<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes, you can. It may take some time depending on what it is. You will need your actual evaluation that breaks down how you are receiveing the rate that you are. In some cases, you may even have to reduce the percentage. Like everyone else is saying though, you do want to talk to a recruiter first to see if you’re eligible or not.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made May 5 at 2019 10:26 AM2019-05-05T10:26:49-04:002019-05-05T10:26:49-04:002019-05-04T11:28:13-04:00
