I do believe that the Army is doing away with recovery time.....however I cannot be certain. I will get with my BN Medical Readiness NCO and get the specifics and get back to you.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 1 at 2016 10:35 AM2016-11-01T10:35:51-04:002016-11-01T10:35:51-04:00WO1 Private RallyPoint Member2030558<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There has to be much more to this story as other responses have stated. <br /><br />However, I will say this the new profile forms that started a few months back, literally have a block where the doc puts a date that Soldier is expected to be fully mission capable and take APFT, obviously that date can change with a follow up appointment, but then too the Soldier would receive another profile. Lastly, on that same form the doc can authorize the Soldier to take a record, yes a record APFT on temporary profile.Response by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 1 at 2016 12:46 PM2016-11-01T12:46:03-04:002016-11-01T12:46:03-04:00SSG Jessica Bautista2030597<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Sure, if they're prepared to gamble their careers in the event that something happens to that soldier.Response by SSG Jessica Bautista made Nov 1 at 2016 1:02 PM2016-11-01T13:02:45-04:002016-11-01T13:02:45-04:00SGT Emily Wheelbarger2030905<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I will be posting "the rest of the story" in the next hour. :) Waiting to clarify some of the details... As long as their actions don't violate the UCMJ, they can do as they wish. Not saying it may not have unpleasant consequences, but, in short, yes.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 11 at 2018 9:15 AM2018-12-11T09:15:46-05:002018-12-11T09:15:46-05:002016-11-01T01:29:03-04:00
