I’d like to know if I can still be activated by the state if there is an emergency even though we are rear detachment. Can a rear detachment in the National Guard still be activated for state emergencies? 2019-07-25T15:12:38-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 4847484 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hi everyone I’m new to the National Guard. If your Rear Detachment unit has the capabilities the State needs for that emergency...then get those bags packed.
