Can a Sergeant go to West Point?

Not sure if this will help, but back in 2010-2011 when I was deployed, I got an email to my AKO from a West Point recruitment officer, I was told my GT score makes me a good candidate for a special program that takes OEF/OIF enlisted to West Point. I ended up not going because I was told West Point is a very unfun place to go to school. You are treated like a private for 4 years. You could just do ROTC at a big state school. Do slack PT 2-3 times a week and get to party all you want on the weekends. At the end of the day, your butter bar from an ROTC party school and your west point butter bars all get paid the same, no matter where they come from.... but if we are being honest, ROTC officers are the lowest quality officers that are produced.

I will echo COL Williams concise post, yes if you meet all the requirements.

I am sure that there are plenty of USMA grads on here that are more than willing to offer advice and assistance.

West Point is a four year program many times with your transfer credits ROTC is a better faster option. But yes you can go to Wes Point, but I'd look at the green to gold program first.
