Can A Soldier Decline ALC?

As the question states, can a soldier decline attending ALC due to the short time frame between graduation transitioning out of active duty?

You can. There is usually a commitment for schools but I believe they removed it due to the ability to transition to the Reserves or when you come back. If you want to decline it you can but you would be shooting yourself in the foot.

I'd put in a deferment over declining it.

No you may not. Enlisted Soldiers are not eligible to decline NCOES.
