SGT Private RallyPoint Member 6106914 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I submitted my ETS DA31 of a large accumulated number of days in March of this year. My leave is to begin in the end of August-November(ETS) My unit sat on it until now July, approved it and sent it to BN. Changed their minds and pulled it to review it to possibly deny because of &quot;staffing issues&quot; on our work schedule. I understand under AR600-8-10 states d. Leave granted must not interfere with operational requirements, timely processing, or transition processing. However, they waited to review my packet until there is weeks remaining to make a decision. I am trying to submit a HHG request and I needed to being my process ASAP. I have never been an issue to my command and completed the daily mission appointed to me regardless of the situation. I believe I was wronged. What does everyone think? Can a unit deny ETS leave? 2020-07-16T10:39:20-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 6106914 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I submitted my ETS DA31 of a large accumulated number of days in March of this year. The timing of it kind of doesn’t matter (unfortunatley), your leave could have been approved and retracted until the day prior to starting the leave. The best bet is to speak with the COC and solicit their support. No IG complaint or congressional complaint can force them to approve it. If you want them to approve it you will need to speak directly to your company level commander. Now normally they don&#39;t, but mission staffing comes 1st. Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Jul 17 at 2020 9:47 PM 2020-07-17T21:47:20-04:00 2020-07-17T21:47:20-04:00 2020-07-16T10:39:20-04:00
