It is a ASI and not much of a need outside of special ops. Best options are reclass to an MOS that works with the needed skill set. I received the school as a Rigger who worked with SF and Rangers.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 3 at 2019 5:55 PM2019-02-03T17:55:33-05:002019-02-03T17:55:33-05:00CSM Michael Chavaree4339562<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Very unlikely. How does this school improve you or your organization? You have no need for the qualification. Go to a unit that performs MFF operations and you will get the school.Response by CSM Michael Chavaree made Feb 3 at 2019 7:54 PM2019-02-03T19:54:53-05:002019-02-03T19:54:53-05:00SGM Bill Frazer4341908<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Its damn hard, and a lot harder since I retired. You would have to prove to God and service that MFF is almost mandatory for you and your unit. In the early 80's we got some Recon into it, and in the early 90's we got some LRSD into. Plus your unit would have to pay the cost. Off my head I would say it's not going to granted.Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Feb 4 at 2019 8:06 PM2019-02-04T20:06:42-05:002019-02-04T20:06:42-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member4343021<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It's also open to riggers, in case you'd like to reclass.<br />MFF is for people with assigned slots. If you're assigned to USASOC you can walk on, although you'll be at the very, very tail end of the OML if your duty position isn't coded for MFF. There are no more LRS units on active duty so your best bet is RRC.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 5 at 2019 11:21 AM2019-02-05T11:21:22-05:002019-02-05T11:21:22-05:002019-02-03T17:42:54-05:00
