I&#39;ve seen plenty of E6&#39;s and even a few E7&#39;s go through the course. (That said, the E-7&#39;s were already members of the unit and flying for awhile) Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 8 at 2015 10:32 PM 2015-10-08T22:32:31-04:00 2015-10-08T22:32:31-04:00 SGM Private RallyPoint Member 1028003 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SSG are accepted into the course but SFC have to submit a waiver. Most of the waivers seem to be approved. I&#39;d suggest going though the comments and connecting with the individuals who offered some help. <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> <img src="https://d26horl2n8pviu.cloudfront.net/link_data_pictures/images/000/024/782/qrc/fb_share_logo.png?1444401479"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://www.rallypoint.com/specialties/68w-healthcare-specialist-combat-medic/answers/becoming-a-flight-medic">Becoming a flight medic? | RallyPoint</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description">I&#39;m sure the question has been asked before, if so, could someone point me in the direction of that thread. Anyway I&#39;m seriously interested in going flight medic. Been one of the main things I&#39;ve wanted in my military career. Anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to go about getting myself in a position to do so? I&#39;ve heard so many things about how to become one but never any solid directive. Any insight would be appreciated.</p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by SSG Carlos Madden made Oct 9 at 2015 10:38 AM 2015-10-09T10:38:20-04:00 2015-10-09T10:38:20-04:00 SGT David A. You don&#39;t have to be in a flight slot or CAB to go - we recently had SSGs assigned to us for the first time. Do the paperwork for the school house, there is always a shortage. Make sure you can pass the flight physical req. Response by CSM Stuart C. O'Black made Oct 14 at 2015 2:10 AM 2015-10-14T02:10:40-04:00 2015-10-14T02:10:40-04:00 2015-10-08T22:30:55-04:00
