I've seen plenty of E6's and even a few E7's go through the course. (That said, the E-7's were already members of the unit and flying for awhile)Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 8 at 2015 10:32 PM2015-10-08T22:32:31-04:002015-10-08T22:32:31-04:00SGM Private RallyPoint Member1028003

SSG are accepted into the course but SFC have to submit a waiver. I'd suggest going though the comments and connecting with the individuals who offered some help.

I'm sure the question has been asked before, if so, could someone point me in the direction of that thread. Anyway I'm seriously interested in going flight medic. Been one of the main things I've wanted in my military career. Anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to go about getting myself in a position to do so? I've heard so many things about how to become one but never any solid directive. Any insight would be appreciated.

You don't have to be in a flight slot or CAB to go - we recently had SSGs assigned to us for the first time. Do the paperwork for the school house, there is always a shortage. Make sure you can pass the flight physical req.Response by CSM Stuart C. O'Black made Oct 14 at 2015 2:10 AM2015-10-14T02:10:40-04:002015-10-14T02:10:40-04:002015-10-08T22:30:55-04:00
