As long as you have paperwork to back it up, sure you can. But if you do, be prepared to be in the crosshairs of the Drill Sergeants, placed in the Platoon Guide position, and be bombarded with all kinds of questions from the IETs.

Im sure the drills will make a game out of it. Had a guy nicknamed patches because he wanted to wear his previous. End of day, its basic training and you will be treated like the rest of the "newbies".

I would probably do whatever you can to stay under the radar just like the first time you went through BCT.

I agree with going in slick until the end. You dont want that extra attention. I went to Benning in '09 and for some reason we had a SGT in with us. He was put in charge of everything and it was clear he was a target for the DSs. He didnt too well, but of course graduated.

Don’t “hide” out. If you’ve earned a CAB, jump/aviation wings, combat patch, and you’re authorized to wear them, proudly do so. Our profession isn’t one of games and deception. Yes, more will be expected of you, but take the opportunity to capitalize on that.

You'll immediately be in the sights of the DS. And although you may be a SPC, if you blast a PVT, be prepared to be demolished by a DS; in basic/ait your rank as a SPC holds no weight, you are a trainee like everyone else.
