SPC Private RallyPoint Member 3972790 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Some details- I’m in the N.C. national guard, we have a deployment date set for next September. My husband is currently in Oklahoma at new duty station. I’m not sure of the regulations regarding an IST. Provided all of my criteria are met for an IST, is the state still able to deny it? Can an IST be denied in the national guard if the spouse has a PCS? 2018-09-17T21:53:39-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 3972790 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Some details- I’m in the N.C. national guard, we have a deployment date set for next September. Especially if your MOS is in need for the mission. If you want to dig further since you are not sure of the regulation, look in NGR 600-200 Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 17 at 2018 11:27 PM 2018-09-17T23:27:08-04:00 2018-09-17T23:27:08-04:00 CPT Private RallyPoint Member 3975724 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I used to be in the North Carolina National Guard. I have never seen an IST denied. Although I have seen people lose bonuses because they change States. The North Carolina National Guard has an IST coordinator in Raleigh. but if your spouse is active duty military then you should be able to go with them.
