If that is the question, for what purpose? I mean, I guess that they would take your dues each month, but they are not going to be able to negotiate with the Army on your behalf for raises or work conditions. I am not sure why you would want to just to give people your money. I am taking donations if you are. If you want to go out and drink with cops take that money go to the local cop bar and buy a round they will love you. Just don&#39;t be a groupie. That is only allowed for badge bunnies. The dependent was issused a govt I&#39;d and that was it. We were not concerned with PBAs or FOP memberships either. There is no benefit from them and we were not recognized as REAL police by the civies Response by SPC Angelo Berardi made Jan 19 at 2017 6:38 PM 2017-01-19T18:38:59-05:00 2017-01-19T18:38:59-05:00 SFC Terry Fortune 2268929 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;m a member of the Southern States PBA. As far as I know PBA will not help you if are on AD as an MP. Now if you are in the Guard or Reserve and you are a LEO for your civilian job and a member of PBA they will help you help you if you get sued. Also PBA here in the South is not a union. Can&#39;t speak for other PBA chapter&#39;s across the country. PBA&#39;s are usually a union organization. Fraternal order of police is probably more to what you are seeking. Each state has a FOP lodge and can get you in contact with the local one near you. You&#39;d just be paying dues without benefits. Unless you just want to have a card to &quot;flash the badge&quot;. There are several Military Police organizations like the Military Police Regimental Association that you could join. Just search the internet. Military Police are eligible to join Tha Fraternal Order of Police. But just as someone else posted, you are just spending on average $25 a month for a card in your wallet a decal for your car and maybe a magazine. Joining does not make you a civilian cop or give you special benefits and privilges. If you just want feel brotherhood with law inforcement, I would suggest that you can donate to the National Law Enforcement Memorial fund. The supports the memorial in Washington DC which is dedicated to fallen officers killed in the line of duty and helps their widows. Anyone can join.
