The reg no longer cares about what unit anyone it is in. It only makes the distinction between junior enlisted, NCOs, and officers.
With that being said, if you show up with a marriage certificate, what is anyone going to do?
Just think it through very carefully first. This is not something to rush into.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 1 at 2018 6:27 PM2018-10-01T18:27:35-04:002018-10-01T18:27:35-04:00SSG Mark Franzen4011368

Unless the regulation has changed there should not be Problem.
SSG MARK FRANZEN
USA VETResponse by SSG Mark Franzen made Oct 1 at 2018 6:34 PM2018-10-01T18:34:45-04:002018-10-01T18:34:45-04:00SSG Brian G.4012018

Yes, an E-5 can marry an E-4.Response by SSG Brian G. made Oct 1 at 2018 11:05 PM2018-10-01T23:05:27-04:002018-10-01T23:05:27-04:00SGT David A.
