Can any 68Cs share a JST? 68C to RN? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-any-68cs-share-a-jst-68c-to-rn

I’m looking to start school now, and curious of what credits exactly I’ll get when I finish my 68C AIT so that I can program my classes accordingly. If any 68C could share their JST it’d be appreciated.

Side note if any 68C has completed ab RN program while in the army, without green to gold, I’d like to hear about how you went about it and how difficult it was to do. Thanks. I finished my RN a year ago and they started me in block 3 (there are 4 total). I had to do all my prerequisites before I could submit my application. So chemistry, biology, A&P 1 & 2, as well as microbiology. You may have to do other classes too depending on what your state's requirements are. Any other questions, feel free to drop me a line. Good luck! They're not actual credits. Most accredited nursing schools will not accept jst recommendations or acceptance into an RN program.
If you are looking 4 the credits that you will be recommended once you complete 68c, you can find BMO West listed on the ace website, American Council for education. But, as I said, jst are not credits, they are only recommendations. You have to find a college that is willing to accept the recommendations and give you credit for them. My advice would be to CLEP as many of the prerequisites as possible (you can CLEP almost everything), and then complete any remaining courses necessary for entry into an RN program at a community college. Next, enroll in an accelerated RN program that will allow you to graduate in 14-16 months. That is your quickest path (and the path I would take if I were in your shoes). You have to check with your specific school. Clep what ever you can and what you can't take them once you are actually enrolled in the core nursing courses look into AECP. My 68C class had 4 people get commissioned as BSN's that way. You no longer have to wait a year to start school so you can enroll in classes as soon as you get to your duty station. The credits accepted for a BSN will depend on the college you apply and get accepted to. Good luck! They put me on active duty for the year, paid for the schooling, BAH, BAS, etc. I attended the local technical school in civilian clothes. Graduated at the end of the year, and immediately started taking my core classes for my ADN. The civilian technical RN program has a LPN to RN bridge program where you can skip/test out of the first year of RN school, and 1/2 of the 3rd semester. Great program, (both of them). We weren’t 68W’s, though, we were 91C’s. Best of Luck 2LT Ronald Reimer Mon, 14 Jan 2019 21:24:28 -0500 2019-01-14T21:24:28-05:00 2019-01-10T11:47:52-05:00
