Can any PA give you a profile?

I received a profile from the clinic on post from a PA from a different Brigade, and now the people in my battery think that I shouldn’t have the profile since it wasn’t one of my Brigades PAs.

Any PA can write a profile. I think the significant question from your Chain of Command is probably why were you being seen in a clinic outside of your Brigade AO. The simple solution is to take your profile and see your Brigade's medical provider. If it is a legitimate profile, your PA will confirm it and there won't be any more issues.

Did they do the half assed scrawl on the appointment slip or did they put the profile in the medical system on the official form?

Exactly what LTC Mackay talking about, is this profile in MEDPROS? Or is this a temporary profile that was handwritten?

This is pretty common for your unit to question the profile, don't take it personal---but follow-up with your BDE medical to have them evaluate----probably best if everything checks out on multiple avenues. Sadly, we have so many service members working the system to their advantage that leaders have become cautious to trust every piece of paper that comes across the desk. Due diligence will prevail if everything checks out, the other medical personnel will verify and honor your profile if it is legit. Always retain a copy for your records.

Yes, any PA on base at any medical clinic on base can give you a profile. They are a medical provider.
