I've come across a few disparities on the sample packet on the USAREC website...it seems that each letterhead document has a different format for the "memorandum for" and "subject" line. Is this an attention to detail follow the sample packet exactly technique the board uses? Or should all letterhead documents be in the same standardized format. For example if you would like to see for yourself, if you view the sample packet look at the tattoo validation vs the security clearance verification. On the tattoo there seems to be a space and a half between each line, as to where the security clearance is flush up against to each other with no spacing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Use the formats outlined in the most current DA Pam 25-50.

Part of the packet review is to see if you can find and use the appropriate regulations and manuals. Army correspondence is very specific when it comes to formatting. Either it's correct or it isn't.
