I've been in 88N since 2007 been deployed twice everything I learned in AIT went out the window. If you want to know your job deploy most contracting companies wont normally pick you up with out experience.

So you’re talking about contracting companies for after enlistment? I’m pursuing my bachelors in supply chain and management and this MOS would go hand in hand with the transportation portion. Ive had some experience with transportiaon and routing in my current job and I do like it.

SPC Seiwell, concerning yourself about a "future" potentiality is wasted energy. BE the person who others go to and trust with their very life because you are the caring steward over their equipment, and by extension them, in your field of choice. BE that and your future will create itself as contractors clammer to hire you. It isn't so much what you know as much as it is how caring you carry out what you know. For what you "know" is deeper than any schooling or education. Blessings in the Light of Abundance.

SGT (Join to see) Here is a previous discussion about the 88N MOS. SFC (Join to see) might be able to provide some great insight.
