Can anyone give me information on 35T AIT as an MOS-T or in general? I would like to leave my family behind due to have 3 dogs?

BAH is low compared to what most houses rent for in Sierra Vista, AZ. Any insight on how AIT will be?

As a MOS-T, you really got the best of both worlds. First, you don’t really have any accountability formations or anything, besides checking in twice a day while you’re waiting to get slotted for the course. Second, you won’t be expected to be a leader for any of the IET students.
One thing I would caution though: If you’re not used to high altitude, prepare to have your PT suffer. Really take the time once you get here to acclimate and don’t worry if you’re not running as fast as you once were. Also, the average wait list for on post housing is 6-8 weeks, so plan ahead or live in the barracks. Let me know if there is anything else you need.
