Can anyone give me the details on older guys (30+) going back in after being out for awhile (especially the Air Force)?

I am currently 30 years old, I am wanting to come back into the service. I was thinking the Air Force. Can anyone talk to me about the road ahead of me?

LCpl Ben Spalding 40 years old here. I got out of Active Air Force in 2000. Am currently in the process of getting back in via the MO Air Nat'l Guard. Due to my situation, I have to get a medical waiver (med discharge back in '00).
My best advice is find a bulldog of a recruiter. If you have no issues and left service simply because your hitch was up, then you shouldn't have an issue. For each year of service, they will add to the age limit of enlistment (40 year age limit - in my case - approx 2 years service = 42 yr age limit on enlistment).
