Keep fighting it, appeal, don't let the timeline slip away It will require new information that they don't already have. Read the CFR 38 outline. Follow the outline in your appeal. Better yet, get help from VFW, DAV etc or some advocate. Mine sent me to a shrink who did an eval, and it cost me $400. But it bumped me up to 50% plus the tinnitus. I get 60% and my retirement. Unfortunately my ex spouse gets 50% of my retirement so VA keeps the lights on.

Its a bitch to get CRSC- suggest getting Vet advocate- DAV, American Legion, etc. They are trained to give help.

Go through a service support organization or get an attorney to file the appeal application . Shouldn’t be this way but you have to fight VA for your compensation. Those adjudicating your claim act as if the money comes directly from their personal checking accounts .
