Can anyone Civilian or Military confiscate your ID (I&#39;m sure MP&#39;s have an exception....I could be wrong) Can anyone legally confiscate your Common Access Card? 2016-04-25T01:09:59-04:00 SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member 1476845 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;ve always been told that you should ALWAYS have your CAC on you. Only authorized members of the military may take it away from you. That would include military law enforcement. A gate guard stated that the rank on my cac was invalid when asked for my pay grade and said they would confiscate it if I don’t update it soon. Nothing else was wrong. All prints were legible and scan fine. Not expired. Can they legally do that?
