Can anyone provide advice on the reclassification process (35L TS-SCI with Caf/opm)?

I have been selected to reclass and I have received my memorandum of acceptance letter. I already have my secret clearence. I have completed my online portion with signature and fingerprints with G2. What happens next? What do I need to do. I need at least my interim sci to get a school date.

You just have to wait. Usually your good to go once the actual investigation has started but things are much different now since OPM was compromised.

You can get with your S2 to stay updated on that status. You won't know once a determination is made so keep checking your ERB after a couple months. This is not a quick process so just be patient.

Have you contacted your servicing Career Counselor to initiate/complete the actual reclassification?

Bring the acceptance letter to your servicing Career Counselor.

Your current chain of command can authorize an interim TS once your clearance upgrade investigation is open. You can attend and complete CISAC with an interim TS. Your clearance should be completed by the time you complete CISAC.

policy has very recently changed on this. When I went to the Counterintelligence Special Agent Course (CISAC) a few years ago, I had to have a TS SCI already. However, you no longer are authorized to procure a TS SCI based on the justification of needing it to attend CISAC. The Army doesn't want to spend 10 grand on getting someone a TS SCI only for them to not be accepted to the school house. My advice is that you go to your local 902nd field office and tell them you would like to recalls to 35L. They will set you up with everything you need to have to submit your packet for acceptance.
