The key components of MLC are based on communication, management, leadership, and operations. There is a lot of reading and note taking as the course is built on the adult learning model ( students take their learning into their own hands) and bring about understanding. This is very similar to how most college course operate. You will complete the readings the day prior and discuss the information with the Facillitator and classmates. There are minimal PowerPoints as there is no direct instruction but rather discussion to bring about understanding. There will be student learning activities that will help take your readings and discussions into a practical format. So be prepared for the information comes fast and heavy. Just be able to define, explain and provide examples. Take notes, notes, notes.
