<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>ALLONS!!! I can't speak of the job itself per say. But the ones I knew in Germany (when the wars kicked off) were very busy with all the injured that came in. You will be spending a lot of your time working closely with patients. From the Occ Therapists I knew, they all loved the job.MSG Private RallyPoint MemberWed, 26 Oct 2016 18:44:15 -04002016-10-26T18:44:15-04:00Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 26 at 2016 6:45 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm a 68L as well. The training is very intense, in that you are gaining the equivalent of an associates degree in 9 months. You have 4 months of academics and about 4 and a half months of clinicals. I highly recommend taking the certification exam right after you graduate the program. If you have a base knowledge of Anatomy and Phisiology before going that will be a great help. That was the toughest two weeks in my opinion, because you have the learn so much. You also will go to the cadaver lab at AMEDD during the A&P time , which is an unforgettable experience. You'll begin implementing what you learn before you go to clinicals and that really sets the foundation for you. It's a great program. I'm in a program now getting my Master's in OT it's a broad profession, with a lot of ability to find a setting that is in line with what you like to do. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.SGT Private RallyPoint MemberThu, 27 Oct 2016 08:47:01 -04002016-10-27T08:47:01-04:00Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 3 at 2017 11:17 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am a 68L. Many resources for you to look at from other posts. Real question is are you going active duty or reserve. Reserve has minimal openings outside of combat operational stress control units. You will barely ever deploy now in a cosc unit and highest rank you can get is SGT E-5. I suggest going active and getting certified if you want to go for this position. Great job and future career for many. Good luck.SGT Private RallyPoint MemberWed, 19 Apr 2017 14:25:58 -04002017-04-19T14:25:58-04:00Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 28 at 2017 3:00 PM
