You have to get a letter from the company that you are going to work for and the start date needs to be on the letter. It's kinda like doing a school drop you follow the same process. Get the letter do a DA 4187 signed by your company Cdr and BN Cdr and there are some other paperwork entailed too. The best bet is to go to talk to your S1 and they call legal. I was a BN s1 and I had a soldier interested in doing that chapter, early release for work. That's what I did legal or the s1 should have a chapter packet checklist of what is needed. Exactly what SFC (Join to see) said. As long as you have a welcome letter or a letter from your employment stating your start date and a DA 4187 signed by your BDE CDR you are good to go
