It used to be that we didn't get concurrent receipt at all. But about 8 years ago, the Veteran Service Organizations won a partial victory with CRDP at 50% and up, for those with 20 or more years of service.
They keep trying to get CRDP for all, but CONgress won't go for it...

Use this page, but skip Step 3. Step 3 was phased out in 2014.

Concurrent Receipt (CRDP) Pay Computation
Use the following four-step computation process to help you predict or verify your CRDP payment rate. The amounts presented here reflect the 2008 rates.

Now that I re-read... No computation is necessary since full phase-in in 2014. CRDP fully restores your military retirement pay and VA Disability Compensation payments. For example a single retiree with a VA Rated service-connected disability could receive their full retirement pay in addition to over $2,400 a month. It is also important to note that the amount you receive cannot exceed the sum of your actual military retirement pay and VA Disability Compensation added together.
It is just the designation for your disability pay, that is in addition to your retirement pay for those 50% or greater.
