The key is finding out who are the players at your VA who can get things done.  There are usually a few.<div><br></div> MAJ Private RallyPoint Member Thu, 27 Mar 2014 18:52:14 -0400 2014-03-27T18:52:14-04:00 Response by Cpl Jania Masterson made Mar 28 at 2014 12:16 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-anything-get-accomplished-through-the-va-i-know-they-do-good-things-for-us-vets-but-throwing-in-the-towel-is-g?n=87045&urlhash=87045 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have been fighting the VA since 2000 and I still do not get my benefits. I was just at the VA today. I hate them. Medical care sucks. I had to get a simple shot today and it was a 3 hour appointment. <br> Cpl Jania Masterson Fri, 28 Mar 2014 00:16:31 -0400 2014-03-28T00:16:31-04:00 Response by MGySgt John Ubaldi made Mar 28 at 2014 9:58 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-anything-get-accomplished-through-the-va-i-know-they-do-good-things-for-us-vets-but-throwing-in-the-towel-is-g?n=87263&urlhash=87263 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you have trouble with getting any traction with the VA go to your local congressional representative.  They have a staff member who handles VA issues, this way they can speed up the process for you.  I tell all veterans to go through this route, and they all most always get results then trying the traditional way!   <br> MGySgt John Ubaldi Fri, 28 Mar 2014 09:58:56 -0400 2014-03-28T09:58:56-04:00 Response by Maj William Marlowe made Jun 12 at 2014 12:00 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-anything-get-accomplished-through-the-va-i-know-they-do-good-things-for-us-vets-but-throwing-in-the-towel-is-g?n=152184&urlhash=152184 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Update: Ha!!!! There is no update as nothing has been done to my disability claim. I did file a new claim on eBenefits as a Fully Developed Claim (FDC) so we'll see if that works!! I still have heard nothing from my VSO which is The DAV. I take it I can call them but what can they really do? The VA has all the paperwork (my original medical and dental records) plus a few other forms that I submitted electronically. It just seems that nothing is going to get done! I would be happy to hear if anybody has actually cracked the code on their claim! Thanks!<br /><br />Bill Maj William Marlowe Thu, 12 Jun 2014 12:00:06 -0400 2014-06-12T12:00:06-04:00 2014-03-26T16:21:44-04:00
