For a while during the surge you could sell special accrued leave once in your career as well, but that's over.<br />You are discharged every time you reenlist and will be discharged in order to accept your commission. Since the leave sold is based upon your rank at discharge, it would be under your current grade.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 23 at 2019 10:23 PM2019-02-23T22:23:55-05:002019-02-23T22:23:55-05:00Capt Daniel Goodman4395921<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Believe me, I was Army ROTC, as well as USAF OTS...I've seen stuff on selling leave on here before, please trust and believe me, don't, OK? You'll think you're doing yourself a favor, however, in the long ter!, you won't be...if you've got the time, believe what I tell you and bank it, for when you really need it, OK? What mome you get from selling of is hardly worth the loss of the freedom that having the leave time allows you, I realize tje temptation, however, that's my honest few, OK?Response by Capt Daniel Goodman made Feb 24 at 2019 12:39 AM2019-02-24T00:39:22-05:002019-02-24T00:39:22-05:00Capt Daniel Goodman4395922<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Sorry, my honest view...typo....Response by Capt Daniel Goodman made Feb 24 at 2019 12:39 AM2019-02-24T00:39:41-05:002019-02-24T00:39:41-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member4395941<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Appreciate the feedback gents.
