If a soldier already in the army that sends a packet for rasp 1, will they be picked a rasp class fairly easy compared to volunteering? What are some things that can prevent them from being picked if they sent a packet?

Submitting a packet.....is volunteering? I'm not quite sure what you are asking.

Braden Morga - You won't be able to submit a packet until you are MOS qualified, so you need to take one step at a time. SFC Boyd has convinced me that the correct path to the Regiment is to enlist 11B with an Airborne Contract, then volunteer at Airborne. If you don't get picked up there, then drop a packet at your first unit, which will at least be Airborne. The attrition rate at RASP is horrible, so if you meet all of the qualifications, you generally get sent. I would also advise having a plan B, since the attrition rate at RASP is horrible.
